Finance: FP&A Analyst
We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our Finance team in San Francisco. This individual will report to the FP&A Director in supporting our departments, which includes Sales, Product Development, Marketing, R&D, Operations, Support and G&A organizations.
To be successful in this role, you will need strong analytical and system skills along with an understanding of revenue accounting for recurring revenue, SaaS and software license business models. An ideal candidate will have experience analyzing revenue, expenses and commissions for a software organization or a company with a subscription model. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience in supporting a software development and G&A organizations.
Responsibilities
- Corporate FP&A activities including consolidation of the overall Company forecast, management and executive management reporting
- Analyze, report and forecast revenue, headcount and expenses for all lines of business on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Assist with the annual planning and rolling forecast process for all lines of businesses
- Analyze and report on churn and other customer satisfaction metrics by drawing from different systems and disparate data sources
- Calculate and vet quarterly commission calculation for sales teams, including preparation of all documentation and reporting
- Reporting for the monthly board meetings
- Ad hoc financial modeling and analysis as needed
- Support Sales Operations with analysis and sales planning
Qualifications/Skills
- BS in Finance or Accounting preferred
- MBA a plus
- Minimum 5-6 years finance/accounting experience, with at least 2 years in FP&A roles
- Experience supporting a SaaS, services or software organization a must
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are a must
- Experience with accounting and management reporting systems such as Netsuite
- Excellent problem solving and analytical and system skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with executives
- Global experience desired (i.e. International Subsidiaries)
